Over some parts of the US, temperatures are well below 0 as their high for the day. Needless to say, it is cold, very cold in most parts of our country. Company called Canadian Tire had a mission: That is to prove its MotoMaster Eliminator battery could withstand being frozen to -40 degrees Fahrenheit and still start a vehicle. To do that, it utilized a 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500.
The chassis for the truck was taken from a 2005 GMC Silverado and then fitted with a steel frame.
After this the ice was added which was sculpted by ice sculpting company Iceculture. But this isn’t your average pickup.
They built something that nobody has ever built before, and it works.
A company in Canada called Iceculture decided to build а one of a kind, 11,000 pound ice truck.
Oh, and in case you were wondering it is fully drivable too.
They have driven it over potholes and other bumps in the road.
And the truck has held up perfectly fine.
It even has brake lights that illuminate.
While they couldn’t build it 100% out of ice, they came pretty close!
